Here is a wonderful article Mothering
Here's a bit from the article:
"Indeed, thousands of studies link soy to malnutrition, digestive distress, immune-system breakdown, thyroid dysfunction, cognitive decline, reproductive disorders and infertility-even cancer and heart disease."
This article sums up the findings by our Eastern counterparts and what can be found in the FDA links below.
Here are a few links from the FDA's website on soy.

HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP - IS IT SAFE?
You decide.
I'll spend more time on this subject another time but for now, I found this video about the findings of mercury in high fructose corn syrup. That is very bad news. Heavy metals like mercury are almost impossible to clean out of the body because it's small enough to travel and lodge in the smallest vessels in our body - the neurons in our brain.
This ten minute video is well worth your time.

Did you notice the bolded points? Mercury and it's derivatives are still being used.
This is HUGE when you consider mercury and it's derivatives impact with the autistic population, ADD/ADHD population, Alzheimer population and with many other brain disorders.
Please do your homework on your doctor's or health department's vaccine before accepting into your body. This homework is very easy to do through the link I just gave you with the FDA.
There are alternatives!
There are many homeopathics available at your health food store or even doctor offices (those that embrace alternative medicine) that are specific to the flu strains we are faced with today. There are homeopathics for other vaccines as well. Ask. Find out about them.
My doctor offers a homeopathic for the flu, year 2008-2009, in her office for $8. I'm sure she'd be happy to send the small plastic bottle with instructions your way.
Dr. Farley-Jones 801-407-3000.
If you live near her office in Highland, Utah and are looking for a doctor that puts nutrition and alternatives first on her list, keeping it in balance with regular medicine - which is great, she's a provider on my insurance (may be on yours too) and my extended family members that haven't made the switch who worry, can now feel good we are seeing a "real" doctor. She may be a good fit for you and your family too.
