Cancer

It has been 3 years since my husband was diagnosed with stage III melanoma. When we first found out, my husband asked his doctor what he could do. His doctor said, "Take your boys fishing." At the time, normal, western medicine protocols were of no use to him. He was given 6 months, maybe a year. Our boys were 5 and 8 years old at the time. It was quite a shock to say the least. My husband was just about to celebrate his 38th birthday. He hadn't felt sick, tired or any of the usual things one associates with cancer. It was just a bump on his back, under a perfectly good looking mole, that finally was bothering him enough that if he sat the wrong way in a straight back chair it started to hurt. Four doctors had looked at this mole since my husband was 18 years old. Each said it was nothing to worry about. The last two said the same even though it had started to grow. Marty told the last doc to take it off anyway so it wouldn't bother him anymore and boy, was the doctor in for a surprise as well.

I am going to give you as much information as I can about what my husband has done over the last 3 years.

I am also going to give you links to websites and details on alternatives to western medicine.

I will also tell you, that it is our faith in God and in his son Jesus Christ that has had the most powerful impact in my husband's longevity and our family's understanding, acceptance and peace through all of this.
